The Pickleball Plateau
Why do so many pickleball players feel like their game stops improving?
In this episode of Juice Bros Pickleball, Adrian and I talk about something almost every player experiences at some point — the pickleball plateau.
You’re playing regularly, showing up to rec games, and getting plenty of court time… but somehow your game doesn’t seem to be getting better.
We break down some of the common reasons players plateau, including:
• playing too many rec games and not enough drilling
• repeating the same habits without intentional practice
• playing the same opponents over and over
• mental frustration when improvement slows
We also talk about what helped us personally push through plateaus and what players can do if they feel stuck in their pickleball journey.
If you’ve ever felt like your game isn’t progressing, this episode should feel very relatable.
